In Meaning
By Karen Whiston
(1979)
You come here in wanting.
Mourn, you will.
Think again on your searching/
If I bore you , turn about,
For my wish is not to flatter you/
In meaning; you are fair
but I have beauty.
In reaches; you are strong
but I have strength, Herculean.
You are hopeful
but I hold hope/
You are alive
but I have lived.
