I sat and looked at your words
vivid images develop
more as I read on
and symbolism
in the form of simple words
It was not the numerous idea
not the emotion strong
not so easy
to communicate
the cluster of symbols
so easily spoken
Now white-lined paper
sharpened pencil unused
The words do not come
not the symbols
nor ideas
but I look, I read
right in front of me
so simple it appears.
