Rachel Goyette, a senior at PRHS, is most likely to be found staring off into space or doodling on a corner of notebook paper during school hours. She has been devoted to art since second grade, when in one of the darkest times in her life, she put together a binder of sixty-seven drawings of Spongebob characters, including Old Man Jenkins. She is inspired by whimsical worlds backed by a logic that explains everything, even if it only makes sense to her, but will also leap up to create if Kelly Lonergan says something along the lines of, “Hey Rach, can you draw me on the moon with German pop sensation, Alexander Marcus and a herd of baby ducks?” Sure thing, Kellzinbuoyt.
