Hey there! I’m Lily, an artist of multiple mediums. Some of the art seen here is a strong hobby of mine, but my passion lies in my costume making (cosplay if you will.) I’ve been sewing since 2005, my 3rd grade year, at Plymouth Elementary School’s quilting club. It wasn’t until the halloween of my 5th grade year that I got into making costumes for myself. I’d rather let that very first costume be buried six feet under ground so we’re not going to talk about that monstrosity. But my first success story would have to be my “Ballgown Grell” cosplay, which is the vibrant red photo of me here. I’ve since met many wonderful people through this hobby and have performed, as well as hosted events, for people who share my love.
As far as my other mediums go, I love to doodle and sketch. My favorite type of painting is watercolor, even though I hated this art form for the longest part of my childhood. I also like working with acrylic paint rather than oil. And chalk pastels rather than oil pastels. (I don’t know what my problem with oil is.)
Freshman year I was also really into the graphic design class and didn’t even anticipate taking Art I (which means I would’ve never found my love for watercolors.) After graduating I’d like to take my graphic design skills to the next level and create three dimensional digital art for video gaming. Specifically Riot Games in California.
Well I thank you for reading and I hope you continue to watch me throughout my journey.
